FOTOTESSERA_MARCO_BUSARELLO

Country of origin: Italy

Lives in: Castello Tesino (Italy)

We know the Artist:

Born in 1989 in Trento, Marco attended the Accademia delle Belle Arti in Verona, where he studied painting and sculpture.

Here he cultivates a passion for sculpture, like that for art, developed during the various symposia in which he participated, where he deepened this art, also discovering the tricks and precautions that go beyond academic study and that are learned with experience.

The reason why he works with wood is the link with his native land, Trentino, as well as the possibility of finding it easily.

He has participated in various symposia and group exhibitions. During the last year he has participated in two Argentine symposia: one of Chaco and the other of Entre Rios. These events were organized in June, when Argentina was in lockdown. They usually take place live there, but due to the pandemic they have become virtual. In this case, Covid-19 gave sculptors from all over the world an opportunity to meet and discuss their art. It was a truly stimulating and satisfying opportunity for discussion!

Realization for the Symposium of Predaia 2022:

The sculpture created by Marco has the title “Metamorphosy”.

The work is part of the theme “Shapes and colors: Nature, master of mixtures” proposing to the observer a personification of nature which, starting from the base, changes from a cocoon to an elegant random movement.

The idea is reinforced and supported by the metamorphosis of the butterfly, which from a clumsy caterpillar turns into an elegant butterfly capable of the most disparate colors and elegance.

There will therefore be a double value linked to flight, to the shapes that it creates and at the same time the shape and color of the elegant insect itself.
